Carved from elm (Ulmus)—a wood known for its resilience and distinctive grain patterns that create natural shadow and dimension in the alien's features. Elm has been used for centuries in European woodcraft for its strength and workability. Here, the grain becomes expression: the wood's own character shapes each face differently.

Finished with tung oil pressed from tree seeds, a traditional method that penetrates deep to protect without sealing. The wood stays alive, darkening slightly over time as your skin's oils interact with it. This is how wood was treated before plastics existed—and it still works better.
