This pendant is carved from beech wood (Fagus sylvatica) — pale cream to light pinkish-brown tones with a fine, even grain. Smooth and understated, with a natural warmth that feels clean and timeless. The finish is natural tung oil, pressed from the seeds of the tung tree. It soaks into the grain, protecting the wood from moisture while bringing out its subtle glow. No lacquer, no plastic coating — just wood and oil, the way it's been done for centuries.
