This pendant is carved from beech wood (Fagus sylvatica) — pale cream to light pinkish-brown tones with a fine, even grain. It soaks into the grain, protecting the wood from moisture while bringing out its subtle glow. No lacquer, no plastic coating — just wood and oil, the way it's been done for centuries.
