Heavy is the head.
The crown doesn't make the king — what he carries does. This skull wears its crown not as decoration, but as weight. The weight of decisions, of responsibility, of standing firm when others look away.
A true king isn't born. He's forged. By battles fought, losses survived, and the quiet moments when no one was watching but he kept going anyway.
For the ones who lead — in their own way, on their own terms. Who don't need a throne to know their worth. The crown is just a reminder of what was already true.
This pendant is carved from silver maple (Acer saccharinum) — pale, creamy tones with a subtle shimmer that catches the light. Lighter than its cousins, with a soft glow that feels almost otherworldly. The finish is natural tung oil, pressed from the seeds of the tung tree. It soaks into the grain, protecting the wood from moisture while bringing out its gentle sheen. No lacquer, no plastic coating — just wood and oil, the way it's been done for centuries.
