Eyes above. Vision beyond.
The eagle doesn't circle without reason. It rises to see what others can't — the full picture, the hidden movement, the path that only reveals itself from above.
In nearly every culture, the eagle stands for something higher. In Native American traditions, it is the closest creature to the Creator, carrying prayers upward on its wings. In ancient Rome, it symbolized the strength of empires. In Slavic folklore, the eagle guards the boundary between earth and sky — a messenger, a protector, a witness. The eagle doesn't rush. It watches. And when it moves, there is no hesitation.
This pendant is carved from wengé wood (Millettia laurentii) — deep, dark brown with fine black streaks that create a striking, almost hypnotic grain pattern. Dense and smooth, with a richness that feels both ancient and timeless. The finish is natural tung oil, pressed from the seeds of the tung tree. It soaks into the grain, protecting the wood from moisture while bringing out its dramatic contrast. No lacquer, no plastic coating — just wood and oil, the way it's been done for centuries.
